Kathie Lee Gifford’s
Kathie Lee Gifford is no stranger to Israel. In fact, she visits often, and on her most recent trip, led a small group of her dear friends on a mission with the hopes of helping others forge the same spirital and religious bond that she has passionately developed herself.
Travel Composer worked closely with Kathie Lee’s Rabbi, Rabbi Jason Sobel, to craft a customized spiritual journey for the soulful and discerning group; one that would leave them inspired and refreshed.
In the spirit of our forefathers, the group began their journey in the desert, staying at the luxurious crater-side resort, Beresheet. To situate themselves on that first day, they took in the vast Midian panoramas with a jeep ride followed by a white-tabled
lunch as fresco. From there, they hopped on a helicopter, and continued their adventure northward. Highlights included a sunset boatride on the Sea of Galilee, a tour of the Mount of Beautitudes, immersing in the Jordan River at Qasr al-Yahud, the Garden of Gethsemane, Capernaum, and the Old City of Jerusalem.
By design, the trip elegantly juxtuposed the rich history of the country’s sacred past with the modern splendor of the land of milk and honey. They stayed in the best boutique hotels and ate with world-renowned chefs at private tastings. In the end, they left with invaluable memories, a spiritual recharge, and hopefully, some good fodder for KLG’s upcoming new book – expected out later this year.
